We lived in Columbia in 1978 and took a Gamecock Club sponsored bus trip to Raleigh for the NC State-USC NIT game at Reynolds. Forgettable. I was a student in the late 70s and tickets were easy to get. Sometimes I'd sit behind Bob Fulton and was able to listen to some of his play by play during sparsely attended games. And I believe if Sindarius had not been ill we'd have won to face UNC in the final game.
