A Gamecock Odyssey book event at Columbia's All Good Books

Join me on Friday, February 9!

I am excited for the opportunity to appear at Columbia’s All Good Books on Friday evening, February 9, to discuss A Gamecock Odyssey: University of South Carolina Sports in the Independent Era.

Joining me for the event will be the great Bob Gillespie, former senior sports writer at The State, and co-author of South Carolina Golf. Bob witnessed and wrote daily about the events and characters chronicled in this book.

We’ll discuss topics including Carolina’s ACC exit, George Rogers’ Heisman campaign, Frank McGuire’s basketball program, the rise of Gamecock baseball, the magical 1984 season of “Fire Ants & Black Magic,” and much more.
